As a Project Manager with DHM, Eddie Szamborski manages qualitative and quantitative research projects from initial design to final analysis. He also coordinates DHM’s participation in the Emerging Leaders internship program and the firm’s equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts.
Eddie specializes in qualitative and online survey research with hard-to-reach populations such as communities of color and those under 18 years old. He believes that intentional research can help to center the experiences and priorities of those who have been long excluded from policy and decision making. Eddie has led research to identify transportation behaviors and priorities among people of color in the Portland metro area, tracked diversity and inclusion at the region’s tech companies, and coordinated focus groups with youth of color across the state to inform a public awareness campaign about cannabis legalization.
Eddie holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a correlate sequence in Urban Studies from Vassar College. He finds joy in writing, reading, cooking, eating, and building communities that lift everyone up.
