- Measured Oregon, Washington, and Idaho residents’ attitudes towards issues related to Northwest dams, including economic vs. environmental considerations, salmon restoration, climate change, what constitutes renewable energy, and support for these energy options
- Completed in-depth interviews with high-level executives and government officials in the Pacific Northwest about electricity issues, including the impacts of electricity deregulation, green power, conservation, dam breaching, and wildlife recovery

- Conducted focus groups to learn what state residents associated with energy conservation and renewable energy – including energy efficiency, energy star, renewable energy, and green power – and to test specific advertising concepts
- Interviewed decision makers in key stakeholder entities to learn how to better promote their acquisition of conservation and renewable energy technologies
- Focus group research for a regional government about recycling practices for businesses, perceptions of the agency’s recycling program, and needs and priorities for recycling, as well as communication and marketing approaches. A related project involved two focus groups to learn more about how consumers feel about the Oregon Bottle Bill and possible changes to the redemption process.
