REBECCA BALL

Rebecca has over 4 years of experience in all phases of public opinion research. Rebecca assists DHM Research partners with fielding administration and quality control, project flow, focus group moderating, qualitative and quantitative analysis and reporting, and preparing visual and interactive presentations.

Rebecca has been involved in key projects for the City of Portland, Metro (Oregon), Sealaska Corporation, Clackamas County, Oregon, Portland Public Schools (PPS), and Whatcom County, Washington. She has moderated focus groups on a range of topics including planning for future water supplies for the Hillsboro Water Department, health care priorities for Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and assessing 13 to 17 year olds’ values for high school redesign for Portland Public Schools (PPS) and parks and recreation for the City of Covington, Washington.

Rebecca holds a Masters in Urban Studies (M.U.S) with an emphasis in Community Development from the School of Urban Studies and Planning at Portland State University. She received her undergraduate degree from PSU in History and English Literature. She previously worked as a project manager for a market research company in Portland, and as an English Assistant in a French high school in Rouen, France.

GINA DAVIS

Gina has been a key member of the DHM Research staff for the past 11 years. Gina supports DHM Research partners and staff with administrative components of research projects and assists in managing the company’s finances.

Gina is a graduate of Lewis and Clark College and holds a B.A. in Business Administration.

JENNY ALLISON

Jenny is DHM Research’s office manager and the newest addition to the team. She supports DHM Research partners and associates in elements of data processing, focus group coordinating, report editing, and the creation of presentations.

Jenny graduated from Oregon State University and holds a B.S. in Multi-Media with a minor in Anthropology. She previously worked as a project coordinator and office manager for Engaging Media Incorporated.

JOHN HORVICK

John has 10 years of public opinion research experience. John assists DHM Research with the development of survey questionnaires, focus group moderating, analysis, and reporting.

John has been involved in key projects including Oregon Big Look Task Force, City of Lake Oswego, Metro (Oregon), Sealaska Native Corporation, and Portland Public Schools (PPS).

John graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2000. He has worked in a variety of areas, including youth employment, organizational development, tobacco use and policy, caregiving and aging, and families who are raising children with behavioral disorders. John previously was a project director at the University of Nebraska Bureau of Sociological Research. He has served on the City Club of Portland Board of Governors since 2006 and is currently vice-chair of the Club's research board.
